Who is responsible

Mitt Stall ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the information you provide when you use the service on mittstall.se and in the Mitt Stall app for iOS and Android. This policy applies to both. If you have questions, you can reach us at support@mittstall.se.

What data we collect

Account information

Email address, name and, if you sign in with email, a password that is stored encrypted. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from them; Apple lets you hide your real address. Phone number and profile picture are optional.

Stable data

What you enter in the service: horses, forage analyses, feeding, chores, calendar, training sessions, contacts and the stable's members. This includes photos of horses and attachments you add to events, such as receipts and certificates.

Technical data

IP address, browser or device type, app version and how the service is used (which features are opened and when). Usage statistics are collected with Firebase Analytics and linked to an anonymous app ID, not to your name. We show no ads and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Notifications

If you allow notifications in the app, we store a token that identifies your device so that reminders about chores and calendar events can be sent to it. It is deleted when you turn off notifications or sign out.

The app and your phone’s permissions

The app asks for access only when you use a feature that needs it, and it works without that access if you say no.

  • Camera and photo library: to add a photo of a horse, a profile picture or an attachment to an event. The photo is uploaded to your stable; we do not read through your photo library.
  • Notifications: for reminders about chores and calendar events. You choose which ones in the app’s settings.
  • No location data, no contacts, no microphone.

How we use and protect your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide the service: show your stable to you and the people you have invited
  • Manage your account, sign-in and subscription
  • Send reminders and important information about the service
  • Provide customer support
  • Understand how the service is used so that we can improve it

The legal basis is our contract with you (the service cannot be delivered without the data), our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and making it better, and your consent for notifications, camera and photo library, which you can withdraw at any time in your phone's settings.

Security: Data is stored with Google Firebase in the EU/EEA. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are never stored in plain text, and anyone who is not a member of your stable cannot read its data.

Sharing of data

We never sell your personal data.

Data is processed by:

1

Google Firebase

Authentication, database, file storage, notifications and usage statistics. Google is a data processor and processes the data in accordance with our agreement with Google.

2

Google Gemini

The AI features (reading forage analyses and the feeding advisor) send the horse’s details and the analysis values to Google’s model. No account information is included, and under Google’s API terms it is not used to train models.

3

Stripe

Payments for the subscription are made on mittstall.se. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us.

4

Stable members

People you invite to your stable see the stable’s data, and whoever invites you sees what you enter there. The owner decides, per horse, who can view and edit.

5

Authorities

If we are required to by law.

How long we keep the data

For as long as you have an account. If you leave a stable, what you entered there stays with the stable (horses, events and sessions belong to the stable, not to the person who entered them), but it is no longer linked to you as a person.

Billing records for the subscription are kept for seven years as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (bokföringslagen). Technical logs are deleted on a rolling basis.

Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, without contacting us:

  • In the app: open Account (the icon in the top right), choose My profile and then Delete account.
  • On mittstall.se: open your profile in the menu and choose Delete account.
  • Or email support@mittstall.se from the account’s email address.

Your account, your profile, your notification settings and your memberships are then removed immediately. A stable that you are the sole owner of, and that no one else is a member of, is deleted along with the account and everything in it; an active subscription is canceled. If a stable you own has other members, you first need to remove them, so that the stable does not disappear for anyone else.

Backups are overwritten within 30 days. Anything we are required by law to keep, such as billing records, is kept for as long as the law requires.
